Day 1 – January 1, 2016
Starting every year this way has been a ritual in my family. Breaking this leaves me with a sense of guilt. I broke this twice, once when in college and then when I was just 3 days due for my delivery. Second one never made me feel guilty but the first, it did.
This year, we as a family went to church to say good bye to the year 2015 and welcome 2016 in prayer. It is always a great moment when hundreds of people bow their heads and praise God in silence and welcome the year.
New year eve celebrations always make me happy and what else could be the most happiest way to start the year and the #100happydays challenge.
Day 2 – January 2, 2016
Gone are the days when my dad used to get 100 cards and many postal stamps and ask us to send to our friends, teachers and relatives. He always bought some serious and sophisticated cards and we took very few and gave them only to our teachers. What we bought for our friends were those colourful, flashy and flowery cards. Then came 123greetings.com , phone calls, SMS, Facebook and then Whatsapp. This time it is just a status update from many.
This card from a dear friend made us happy specially because it came via post 🙂
Day 3 – January 3, 2016
My hunt for a good cook has started many months back. Though I love cooking for family, there are certain things at home to be taken care of for now, which are more important than me cooking for family. Today, I hired a cook and she made some tasty food and we gave her a spot offer to be onboard. More time for family and self. Yeyyy!!!
Day 4 – January 4, 2016
The most memorable day of my life. This day has changed our lives so much that we don’t even remember how our lives were in past. Our past, present and future everything is associated with this Little Tigress of mine. Happy to see her growing fast. Happy Birthday Baby! Love you so much!
Day 5 – January 5, 2016
All I want was a few minutes to de-stress. Too much of work and it seemed highly impossible for me to take a break. After waiting for many hours, when my baby slept, the first thing I did was to make some nice tea and sat to have some quite me-time. As soon as I tweeted the happy moment my husband entered the house asking if I can make some strong tea as he is very tired. When I said yes and was about to get up, he left the house saying he will be back home soon. I know that he saw my tweet on twitter and left me alone to enjoy my time. Another happy moment.
Day 6 – January 6, 2016
Looks like yesterdays stress has hit me badly. I am getting up early to help my cook and needed to catch up some sleep. After many days could take a long afternoon nap while my husband took care of my baby and his work. I am feeling fresh now. Thanks to work from home opportunity.
Day 7 – January 7, 2016
Many Little things = Loads of Happiness. It’s difficult to keep children engaged for long. Many little things made her happy and engaged and brought a smile on our face to see her happy. Thanks to Indu for making her day.
